Horse Hoof Care

Hoof care is critical to the maintenance of your horse's health. All horses, whether shod or barefoot, require routine maintenance of their hooves. Proper leveling and trimming of the hooves allow the horse to move soundly and freely. To ensure that all problems with your horse's hooves are promptly handled, we are pleased to have a farrier visit our practice at six week intervals. The farrier will perform routine hoof trimming and maintenance and is available for corrective and orthopedic hoof care. All you need to do is call the hospital and we will be happy to make the appropriate appointments for your horse.
